Drive Botswana is registered in the UK with a branch in Palapye, Botswana and has been operating since 2006.

We are not a large out of touch travel agency - our focus is on personal, individual service. We take bookings from all over the world, and are able to quote and accept payment in all the major world currencies.

Our services

With our extensive first hand experience and knowledge of Botswana, we make sure that what we organise for you is of nothing but the highest standard. We aim not to fulfil but to exceed your expectations. Many of our previous clients have come back the following year, and repeat business is a testimony to the quality of service we provide.

We offer a unique personalised service, with an informative brochure and info pack with every booking, as well as advice on booking flights, visa requirements and immunisations.

We are available 24 hours a day to answer questions at any time. If you are delayed at any stage, we will do our best to rearrange your itinerary for you or suggest an alternative route. Satellite phone and GPS rental are also arranged on request (these are requirements for certain places - for example parts of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve in Botswana and Kafue National Park in Zambia).

We know the most scenic routes to take, the best sites to camp at, where to buy food and provisions, and those off-the-beaten-track locations that otherwise would go unseen. The tourism industry is dynamic, new facilities are always being set up. We keep ourselves constantly updated with new information, so that the itinerary we prepare for you is as hassle-free as possible.

Who we are

Andy - Managing Director

Andy holds a degree in natural resource management and has an active interest in conservation. He was brought up in Serowe, Botswana and has travelled extensively in Southern Africa. Based in Botswana, Andy handles most of the booking requests and is the main point of contact with clients.

Phil - Sales and Marketing

Phil is an avid wildlife enthusiast and an expert photographer - his wildlife portfolio can be seen on his website. Phil was also brought up in Botswana and has travelled throughout the country. He has seen a wide variety of mammals and birds, but some species still elude him on camera!.

Dimpho - Administration

Dimpho has lived in Palapye, Botswana all her life apart from 18 months spent in the UK. She handles the accounts and office administration, and enjoys travelling, meeting people, writing and making wedding cakes - which she does as a business from home.
